We have installed CRM 3.0 in December and we seriously think about stopping
and using a different CRM system. Even our old Goldmine system had a better
performance.
CRM 3.0 is poorly integrated in Outlook (no company name, other field names
for telephone numbers to name a few), the program is causing many system
failures when going online/offline. We had to uninstall various safety
updates for Outlook 2003 to get it running.
The programm is extremely slow and is more of a problem than a helping hand.

Calls are not synchronised to the Outlook To Do list, appointments have to
be made while in CRM and not from within Outlook etc etc etc

I share your pain. And welcome to MSCRM 3.0.

I have to agree also.

There are some aspects of the system that are excellent, mainly the
customisations.
Then there are some aspects of the system that are so bad it is
unbelievable (as an example how about a system that makes it very
difficult to get a quote to a customer, unless you are prepared to
learn SRS in order to write new reports, or buy an add-in. This is
basic functionality!. I can't think of another CRM package that
imposes this.) It really does still feel like a version 1.0 package
(ok version 2.0 at a push!)

I really hope the Titan release does something major, apart from allow
it to be more attractive to those hosting for multiple companies.

I still have faith that Microsoft will make this into a world class
product, but it is a long way off at the moment.

IMHO
