Hi,

I now have another problem with security policies.

CRM admin is member of the root BU.
One of the 1st level support rep. creates a case and escalate it to the 2nd
level support wich has no parent-child relation with the 1st level support
BU.
During the escalation I change the ownership of the case to someone at the
2nd level.

Problem is that even though 1st level only have write access on their BU
they can write in the case that has been escalated to 2nd level...

I even tried to give the ownership to CRM Admin and 1st level can still
write in the case...

Can someone help me on this?
Thanks
Eric

In other words:

Is it true to say that the creator of a case will always have write access
to its case even if a Workflow rules gives the ownership to someone else
from a BU that has nothing to do with the BU of the creator (and the
creatoor can only write in case within his BU)?

Thanks
Eric

AFAIK, Yes. This is because the record is actually still shared with the
original owner. You will notice that it shows up in the 'My Cases' view for
both users.

In V3 it is possible to set this behaviour (whether by default to share with
the original owner or not). Not much help to you here with 1.2 I'm afraid.

Thanks for this answer.

The share is hidden so?
I cannot see any share if I go to the share menu for the case? (in this case
I could remove the share...).

Thanks
Eric
