Here is how it works... You have to be able to open up the URL over then
internet with out having to type in your username and password... This means
that the machine you are accessign it from is part of the domain and has the
necesarry credentials to access it across the network. Then you have to add
the Site URL. (You probably want to use the same, and let DNS sort it out but
resolve to the same server whether you are inside or out on the internet.)
But you have to add the site to the "trusted Intranet" Site. then it will not
challenge, and IE6/7 will let you use the logged in user to authenticate with
the CRM server. If you open the URL (for example: https://crm.<mydomain>.com
The site has to come up without typing in the username and password. It will
still work taht way if you ar enot using the Outlook client, and only using
the web interface. But to get it to work in Outlook, YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO
LOG INTO THE CRM USING YOUR WINDOWS LOGGED IN CREDENTIALS....
