My office is currently running a CRM 3.0 Professional install and I have
successfuly installed the CRM client for Outlook on a CSR's system, but when
I open Outlook I am getting the following error:

"Your Web browser options are currently set to disable cookies. Microsoft
CRM requires cookies to use the Web client. To enable cookies, see the
online Help for your browser"

On this users system I have enabled all cookies in their IE properties and
the CRM server is listed in their Local Intranet zone. At this point, IE is
set to the lowest possible settings and Outlook is still throwing this error
out at me.

I have two systems that the CRM client is currently working successfuly on
and I can find no difference between their browser settings and this problem
install before lowering it's security levels.

I'm unsure as to what the next steps should be for troubleshooting this
issue. Any help?

There are a couple of things that could be tried to verify everything is
setup correctly:

1. Verify the User- A quick method is to close the CRM Outlook Client and
try navigating to your server (while on the client box, logged in as the CRM
Outlook Client User. If there are no issues, we know the user has
connectivity to the server and has a licensed role with some security role.
2. Verify the Outlook Client is pointing to the correct location: Open
RegEdit and navigate to and verify the WebAppUrl in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSCRMClient is pointing to the same
server as you used to verify the user. If it does not match, you should try
changing the server name so they both match. Note: If the CRM installation
is on an SBS machine, there may be an additional port number required to
connect to the server (something like ':5555').
3. Verify there are no Proxy Issues: Check if the problem still happen with
this setting enabled:
internet options -> connection -> LAN settings -> check the "bypass proxy"
checkbox

The problem for me was that McAfee was blocking outlook from adding CRM
Client.
