I have CRM 3.0 and the oppertunity records for booking records for our jobs.
Currently we've been attaching them to training courses and automatically
having the fee copied into the est revenue field.
I'd been ignoring the system or manula calculation option. However I'd
noticed that choosing system calculated and clicking recalculate or closing
and opening the record was wiping my previous est revenue figure.
I've gathered that this function looks at any "products" associated with the
booking and places that value in the est rev field.
Is it possible to control the scope of this system calculate revenue
function to include services or anything else or will it only work for
product?
