How do I move a lead out of my current leads view (which is a custom view I
created), without having to delete it out permanently?

I thought that would work (I know that's how it's supposed to work), but it's
not. Let me tell you that I'm running v1.2. Could that be some kind of bug?
I haven't done any patches or hotfixes yet. When I disqualify a lead, it
shows up in closed leads, but it is still present in the original custmized
leads view. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You need to add a filter criteria to your custom lead view that
eliminates the closed leads. I believe you want to use "State Code =
Active" (not at a system right now to check). But your custom view
will show you everything that meets the criteria you entered for it -
no magic there - so you need to keep adjusting that criteria until you
get what you want. HTH,

Ok, i'm about to sound stupid, but i'm very new to MSCRM and am a little
unfamiliar with some of customization stuff (nothing i can't figure out some
way). Where do you create and place these filters (Deployment Manager,
Workflow Manager, etc.)? Thanks for the help!

You define them in the same form you created the view.
