    - incoming Email I have a user in CRM with the email address Lisa.Simpson@Simpsons.com. If I send an email to this address, and then log in as Lisa, shouldn't I see the email under Workplace | My Work | E-Mail? Did I miss some configuration?     - Product catalog In the price list for each item we have a standard configuration: Pricing Method = Percent of List Percentage = 100 Rounding = None For the Product Item we have the list price ex. .005 Decimals Support =3 My problem is the system is rounding the .005 to .01. If I have 1000 items I need to charge .005 the total for the sale would be 5.00 instead of 100.00 (.01 * 1000). How do I solve this problem and is anyone having the same problem.     - User with no license I thought I remember learning in CRM class that a user would be able to log into crm without having a license, but that they would not be able to see the sales and customer service modules until they were assigned a license. Can anybody confirm this? I just added a user, gave him a role, but did not give him a license. When I try to log in as him, it gives me a license error.     - replication of multiple CRM databases Hello, I'm investrigating CRM packages and the environment I'm looking at is having two or three instllations (one in US, one in Canada and possibly one in France). The data needs to be shared to a degree (if possible) and one option I want to consider is MS SQL server replication. Ideally, so the two/three international installations can work with the same data, showing local regional settings (US$ Can$ and euro). Network infrastructure means having an installation in one central location with the other two accessing the central, shared database over the Internet would not be the most appropriate. (Though using the Internet for data replication would be OK). I understand that CRM uses replication to handle synchronization between the central db and MDSE based outlook clients for offline access.     - Create a "View" for Accounts that displays Primary Contact's email Hi, Today I created a new Account View for one of our business units. The view displays a listing of the particular type of Account that the business unit serves. When I asked the business unit if that View helped them, I got a reply saying that the column for Account Email was good but they preferred a column for the Primary Contact's Email. It seems that out-of-the-box, I can't use the web front end to include a column for the Primary Contact's Email. I can (& I have) include a column for the Primary Contact which displays the Contact's name. Of course, unlike the Primary Contact's Email, there is a field in the Account Schema for the Primary Contact so it makes sense that I can display a column for that. Is it possible to use the SDK to create a saved query that retrieves the Primary Contact's Email and then link that query somehow to an Account View? Thanks! Matt Narayan.     - server API & multi-creation of objects Hello! I have the following scenario: I get data from a webservice. These data are (temporarily) stored in a XML file on the server. The data contain: 1 account, numerous customer addresses and numerous contacts. When I save the account a post-callout routine stores these data in MSCRM (we use MSCRM v1.2). It works fine, but: VERY SLOW. In my test case I have 26 customer addresses and 21 contacts. The whole post-callout routine needs 22 seconds. (When it is called the first time, it needs 33 seconds.) Through some tests I found out that 6 to 7 seconds of the time is consumed by the XSLT transformation I do. So there still remain 15 seconds which are consumed by doing 26 calls to CRMCustomerAddress.Create() and 21 calls to CRMContact.Create(). I think - and our customers think - that this speed is embarrassing. As a developer I have an idea, where this slowness comes from: The SDK methods work as webservice methods. That is useful and necessary, when you want to handle objects from remote. In my scenario the data is already on the server (as a XML file) and it should be loaded into the (MSCRM) database on the same server. In this scenario doing the object handling via webservice methods is absolutely overhead. If the creation of the objects would be done on the server only, it would much more faster (the creation of some data rows is usually done in a blink of an eye). So the following extensions of the SDK would be EXTREMELY REASONABLE: (hello Microsoft, can you hear me?) - methods that do the object handling directly and not via webservice (let's call that: a server API) - a method like CreateMultiple() for creating multiple objects of one type. Any ideas of how to speed up the post-callout routine would be appreciated.     - Deletion service cannot clean up tables I get the deletion service logging in the Application log every 10 minutes the following error: Event ID: 5895 Source MSCRMDeletionService Error: Can't clean up the following tables: Account; Activity.     - Found new CRM 1.2 Bug While working on our new Bulk Emailer with attachments product, I discovered an interesting bug in the CRM 1.2 Schema. The "My Active Contacts" view has two order attributes. Passing the view id for this view ({00000000-0000-0000-00AA-000010001003}) to the CRMQuery API ExecuteById method results in an SQL exception...basically related to multiple columns with the same name in the order by list. I was using this method to retrieve all objects for whatever view the user had selected. The only way to fix it was to export the CRM schema, and manually remove one of the order attributes from the "My Active Contacts" view, and then re-import the schema. This seems to fix the problem! I checked all the rest of the views manually, and they all seem to be fine. Hope that saves someone else some headaches!     - Multiple CRM servers I've been asked the following question, and not having dealt with any implementations of this scale, I don't really have the experience to answer it fairly. Additionally, I haven't been able to find any documentation one way or the other.     - Deleted an Active Directory User and I can not remove a CRM license from it. We have deleted a user account from our Active Directory. We found out that the user had a sales license for CRM, and deleting the user account from Active Directory did not automatically free up the license. The user account was gone from Active Directory, but not from CRM server! When we clicked on the user account and tried to remove the sales license from that user account, it said the user account could not be found in active directory, and it did not let us do anything about that orphant license.     - Trouble With Internal Emails We have a process where our sales staff emails a request to a queue. The people watching the queue accepts the email then replies to it. This creates 4 entries in an account's activity history. I have read that this is "by design" (see below) - but am I the only one that has a problem with this? I noticed the "test" installation has replication configured and an additional distribution database. The "production" installation has neither, and the installation said it was successful.     - Uninstalling applications from batch Ok, I've come across an interesting problem. I'm trying to set up some form of script to uninstall 2 old applications and install the new version. The applications are a legacy terminal emulation package that shows up in Add/Remove programs, but do not show up when I query the WMI via VBScript. They were not installed via MSI file and there is no uninstall program in the program's directories. What it appears that I need to do is call the Add/Remove programs uninstall from a batch file or VBScript. Does anyone know how to do this? I'd appreciate any help. Hi,

You may have replication setup issue on your SQL server, I suggest you to go
through this article :

If this is OK, you may test the following manipulation :
Open SQL Enterprise Manager; go to Start select All Programs and then
Microsoft SQL Server. Expand Microsoft SQL Servers, expand SQL Server
Group, expand your Microsoft CRM SQL Server and expand Replication Monitor.
Expand Publishers, and expand your SQL Server Name where you will find the
CRMMetaPub and CRMPub publications.
a. Highlight CRMMetaPub and right-click on the Snapshot in the right
window pane. Select Start agent.
b. Highlight CRMPub and right-click on the Snapshot in the right window
pane. Select Start agent.
