Seems like a basic question but I cant see how to do it.......

CRM User A contacts customer and want to schedule an appointment for CRM
User B to meet with them - how can they do it? Anytime you make an
appointment - either SFO or web it gets allocated to person who made it?

Causing lots of frustration - appreciate any advice

I can do actions Assign for other activities like Tasks or phone calls but

security roles - can you do this ok?

One possibility is to use our GroupCalendar for MS CRM 1.2.

This Add-On gives you the possibility to show you the activities of a
other user in a day, week and month -view. So you could look into the
activities of other users and make an appointment for that user.

You have a filter possibility to show only the activities where the user is
entered as an attendee and so you will not see the appointment you created
for other users. The only exception is when you are also an attendee.

If you are interested go to www.mscrm-addons.com and see details or
download a trial-version.

Hi.

CRM ver 1.2 - SFO - Outlook 2003 SP1:

We had the same problem. First the booking person make the appointment
activity as it was her/his own. Then we found out, that if you drog and drop
the appointment from the booking persons calender in Outlook to the second
persons. CRM then creates an activity for the second person, including the
calender item in Outlook. The booking person will stille have the activity,
but no Calender item in Outlook. The booking person can then delete the
activity.

Its not a very elegant solution, but it works. Be sure to give the booking
person the nessesery right on the second persons Outlook calender!

Best regards

Jacob Mondrup
IT Manager, Cultivator Denmark.

Thanks Jacob

Dont think I would ever have thought of that solution :-) Will give it a go
& see whether we can get people comfortable working this way.

Thanks for your help

Roger
