Hi,

we've just installed the whole CRM system, Exchange, Exchange connector...
In the mean time it's possible to receive mail into the crm system,
but sending it out always gives an (undefined) error in the CRM system!

I saw that no mail comes in on the exchange...
What could be the problem??

Thanks in advance,
SturE

E-mails sent from MSCRM are always sent using SMTP, thus check your SMTP
server.

Note that sent e-mails are not visible in Outlook "sent items" in v1.2 (nor
in Exchange), while in v3.0 they are.

actually, only email sent via the CRM for Outlook will end up n the Sent
ITems folder. Anything sent ia the "web" forms is sent via SMTP by the CRM
server and does NOT end up in Sent Items.

SMTP settings can be verified by running a "Repair" on the CRM App server
install. There is a page where you can modify the SMTP settings. By
default, it is se tto use the SMTP service on the CRM server which may be
raising the error.

Will running the repair reinstall any aspx pages? Or is it just to repair
the registry/config settings?

The repair option should be available by re-running the install.
