Hi,
We have been running Microsoft CRM 3.0 SBE on SBS 2003.
We have purchased CRM 3.0 Professional and intend to redeploy CRM on a
Windows 2003 Standard Server on a new Domain.

The problem I have experienced, is that after running the redeploy wizard
succesfully. While installing CRM I receive the error "You cannot mix SBE and
Professional License Keys.".
We no longer wish to use the SBE keys, so if there is a way I can remove
them as part of the redeploy this would be fine.

How do I avoid this?

I have received no response from anyone except yourself.

I suspect if you changed the license keys on the SBE deployment and then
took the backup, this may work. I have not yet been able to try this, as
changing License keys on our deployment server is not an option at present.

Can you let me know if you have found a solution?

Thanks,
Joe

Tried that, didn't work for me.

Have had to build a brand new system from scratch which is not good and
Microsoft are wanting to charge me $300 before they will talk to me.

To make it worse is I asked Microsoft if what I wanted to do was supported
and they siad 'yes'

Makes it very hard to tell managment that this is a good product to sell
when it is impossible to get working internally.

I've managed to get the install to start by removing the entries in the
"Licenses" table, however this method is not officially supported and I now
have another problem which is proving even more difficult to resolve.

About 2/3 of the way through the installation, it stops with the
"CreateSetupUser Failed 0x80048306". I found a post about this error at
http://blogs.msdn.com/ukcrm/archive/2005/12/14/503766.aspx but the resolution
posted there has not solved the problem.

I am about ready to pull my hair out, our network restructure can not go
ahead until we are sure CRM will function correctly.
