I want to develop the Knowledge Base in CRM as a place to put things people
in our firm all use in Common. However, I am frustrated that I cannot attach
or copy files into the Knowledge Base especially Power Point files.
It seems obvious that this could be a very powerful feature of CRM if its
functionality was improved.

This is a huge issue. I amazed that I can attach documents to a scheduled
phone call but not to a KB article... hard to imagin how that was missed.

I strongly Agree.
I cant belive that files cannot be attached to Knowledge base.
How can one expect to develop world class customer support system when you
cannot have attachments or graphis in the KB articles?
I request Microsoft to release a patch that will allow attaching the
documents to KB

It is one of the biggest disappointments of the 4.0 release that it is still
not possible to attach a file to a knowledge base article. I cannot believe
this is something that was missed for the second time, there must be a
technical explaination for this. Files can be attached to almost every
entity/record type except for the knowledge base article, one of the
record-types where you obviously would expect it to be possible. I hope that
Microsoft, a partner, or somebody else, will provide a solution for this
soon, because almost every customer asks for it.

Does V4 allow images in KB articles.
I was very disappointed to discover the V3 CRM doesn't support images in KB
items or attachments.
Sort of makes it pretty useless really in todays media rich world.
