    - Account Views Order Is there any way of manually setting the order in which views are displayed in the drop down box for Accounts? We've created a number of similar views all starting with the word "account" followed by a username (eg: Account - Joe Bloggs etc..) and ideally want them displayed in the list together alphabetically but at the moment they're all mixed in with other views in no logical order. It's not a major problem but would make the system more user friendly if we could have all these views together in the list, is this possible?     - holding the control key down does not highlight let' say that I am selecting multiple accounts to change their assignment. I want to select # 1, 2, and 5. I can highlight 1 and 2 find with the shift key or control key. If I try to use the control key to highlight #5 it will not highlight. It opens a new IE window. I thought this was something to do with the google toolbar but I have uninsalled it to test and stil have the same problems. It appears to only happen in CRM. Anyone have any ideas? Specifically I am trying to understand why there is a delay from the time we publish a KB article in CRM to the time the article is available for view in CRM. The user guide and help reference that comes with CRM is of little to no value.     - how use sepparate web.config? Hi, I have been having some problems with settings in my web.config that interfear with PostURL webservices. I read that you can put your customization stuff in a separate pool from the crmAppPool and that that will give you the opportunity to have a different web.config for the both appPools.     - Page not found for BizUser.srf! I am trying to get the Bizuser.WhoAmI call to work. I am trying to get the correct virtual server to make the call work. But even from IIS Manager it doesn't work as expected. I have looked through the user groups, and tried a lot of the suggestions - still no joy. When I am in IIS manager I click on the BizUser.srf file - and get a 500 error instead of the normal Soap Error. If I click on the CRMAccount..srf file, I correctly get back XML. I have also gone into CRM, brought up an account - and then typed in the extension for BizUser.srf. I have deleted and added back in the .srf extension to the configuration section.     - Some pick lists are not showing all of their pull down values. Some pick lists are not showing all of their pull down values. Some of our users must use the Up/Down arrows to see all values - the scrollbar does not work. We have not isolated this to specific computers yet. I think it may be something w/ the DPI settings of specific computers, but I'm not sure. I have logged into several machines at this customer site for month and not seen this occurrence.     - Downgrade CRMAdmin AD Rights Hope you can help. We've finished our installation and setup and would really like to downgrade the CRMAdmin user from being a domain administrator. At the moment I (and the other people who know the CRMAdmin password) have the power to completely break the network and my Network Manager is obviously getting twitchy as we continue rollout across the business. Can someone tell me exactly what rights CRMAdmin really needs from an AD point of view so I can pass this to our networks people and halt their conniptions.     - Problem Installing Second CRM Web Server I'm trying to install a second web server by running the installation program and pointing the database to the exisiting install. The installation runs succesfully but I get the following error in the Application log: Event Type: Error Event Source: MSCRMSecurityService Event Category: None Event ID: 5916 Date: 9/15/2005 Time: 3:36:04 PM User: N/A Computer: DECRM Description: Error: Could not query account information. 1788 (0x000006FC) Description: The trust relationship between the primary domain and the trusted domain failed.     - Default Vaules Hi all, I've created a boolean Contact field called BoardMember. The default value is displayed as Yes (1), but when I create a new record the value gets set to No (0) automatically. I actually don't want new Contacts to get set to Board Members by default, so it is doing what I want, but not what it should be doing according to the default setting. Also, when I use the Customisations to change the default setting to NO (and save the customisations), if I go back to check it, it has gone back to NO - i.e. it's not holding the change (I've even tried changing it and iisreset/Publishing the Customisation).     - SFO Issue Hi all, Got an issue with a Sales For Oulook client. All others in this company have worked fine, this one has the contacts folder available but when you click on it, it throws up an error. The good old generic "An error has occured please contact your system administrator". This is where we are at so far: tried clearing the cache installed the sfo roll-up update there was no error/issue going "offline" I am not sure where else to look. If anyone has any idea's they would be greatly appreciated. This client is overseas doing a demo to the whole region and this isn't working, :-S not good....     - Workflow and Order With our order it takes a 3rd party (the government) to process some paperwork before we can fulfill the order. The goal is to keep orders from being forgotten because 1 out of every 100 orders is mishandled and never returned. I have a date field that is a marker when the documents are mailed and a date field to mark when they are received back and the order can be fulfilled. I need an alert when this doesn't happen on time. I understand that dates do not work well as agents for workflow. I can't use status because the status doesn't change on this internal paper trail. I need a suggestion on how to track an event (mailed docs) and if the second event (rec. docs) doesn't happen with in 7 days an email is sent to the owner to follow up with the government rep. What ever is suggested to mark the docs being received and the workflow email alert being skipped most of the time, know that the dates are still needed to track history if there is a need to trace problems.     - CRM acting as if the shift key is being held down Here is an interesting one... I have a remote user who accesses CRM through IE 6. She does this by logging onto a remote machine using PC Anywhere. Lately she has this problem wherein she will be entering information into CRM and suddenly her computer will begin to act as if the shift key is being held down (she can only type in caps, she cannot place her cursor she can only highlight). The only way she has been able to stop it is to completely shut down her machine. That will work for a while but the problem inevitably recurs. She has shut down her machine 10+ times today alone.     - An error occurred while trying to synchronize An error occurred while trying to synchronize the appointment information to the microsoft CRM system. I have all latest patches applied for 1.2; Outlook 2003. Using Windows XP SP2. When I delete a CRM appointment, it does not delete it in Outlook. When I am in Outlook and try to delete it there, I get the above error message. I had old tasks in Outlook that I tried to delete, and I got a message that the CRM record was "read only".
