CRM 3.0 Information (.NET 1.1 or .NET 2.0)?

I want to know whether Microsoft already announced which .NET version will be
supported by final release CRM 3.0, .NET 1.1 or .NET 2.0? The beta version
still in .NET 1.1. And also what about the SQL Server, support SQL 2005 also?

As of now, the RTM version of Microsoft CRM 3 will run on .NET 1.1 SP1 and
SQL 2000 SP4 (required).

I know they are testing it with .NET 2.0 and SQL 2005, but I do not know if
there is any official word on when they will be supported. Since both
updates are "the future", it is a safe bet that Microsoft CRM 3.0 will
support these new platform components at some point.

As Aaron already said, the RTM will run on .NET 1.1 and SQL 2000. This
doesn't mean that you cannot use 2.0 for your own customizations. Despite
some problems with callouts (which should be solved until RTM) you can use
2.0 to implement your customizations without restrictions.

FYI, the "official" word that I have heard (of course, that is subject to
change) is that SQL 2005 will be supported with the RTM. Current timing
should have SQL 2005 out before CRM v3. If that changes, then the support
will probably change as well.

As for .Net framework, the app itself uses 1.1, the "supported" config for
the 2.0 framework will be to have it installed side-by-side with the 1.1
framework.
