You might also consider playing around with high-DPI mode in Internet
Explorer 6, as described in the last section of:

On an LCD monitor, resampling will result if the native resolution is a
non-integral multiple of the selected resolution. Zooming will limit the
resampling to the images, while the text will be rendered out at a higher
point size at the full resolution of the display.
