We have 2 problems !

One where a customer goes offline and is able to use oppertunities, leads
etc. except accounts. When I click on the top folder where it says CRM it
says something about rights ?

With another customer there is no data when they go offline, it's runs
through synchronization but there is no data when offline ?

Anyone one got any ideas for these ?

Jack

i saw this issue last week. I had added a user through the web interface...i
used the FQDN name rather than the netbios name for the domain....

The SFO client needs the netbios name for the domain. The result was when
the user goes offline there were no errors but also no data came down.

If you add users through deployment manager this issue does not occur.
However most users add users through the web interface for speed.

does the user have read writes for accounts? this sounds like an issue with
the security role assigned to him

I to get the message 'You do not have sufficient access rights or privileges
to perform this action' when I try to view a form when the client is Off line.
The users I tried with both have the Administrator Role.

How should I fix this? The users were added through the web interface, but I
used the NetBios name for the domain.

He has a sales role with a bit more rights, but we've used the FQDN for
logon. What can we do to correct this ?

There is an unsupported way to modify this directly in the database. Edit the
SystemUserBase table and change the login field to be domain\username. This
shouldn't affect anything else in the system.
