    - Where can I get Hotfix 924581? Hi, I'm trying to install the GP-CRM connector and it says I need the Hotfix 924581.     - Wierd performance problem with CRM Hi, I posted this in Deployment a few days ago, but I'm also going to try my luck here! I have a freshly installed Dynamics CRM 3.0 server cluster (using Network Load Balancing), with the following specs: dual 1.6ghz Xeon Quad Core, 4GB ram. Both servers are using Windows 2003 R2 Standard. The problem I am seeing is a 20 - 30 minute wait on accessing either server (directly, or via the NLB IP) via web access (havent tried the outlook client in a while) just to get to the front page. Then, each sub part of CRM (Sales et al) produces a similar, if not worse, lag - and in most cases, it just simply times out. I know there should be a wait after IIS goes idle, but everyone I have spoken to says this is only a matter of a few minutes, not the half an hour or more I am seeing.     - changing the manual discount to a percentage in Opportunity Produc When adding products to an opportunity, there is a line for 'manual discount' which is a dollar amount. I would like to change that to a percentage and have the system calculate the 'extended amount' by multiplying the 'Amount ($)' by the manual discount percentage (instead of by subtracting the 'manual discount ($) from the 'Amount ($)' Does anyone know how I can do this?     - Form Size and Scroll Bars Hello All, We have added a number of fields to the opportunity form.     - About CRM 3.0 Speed We have in our production system delay of 6-7 seconds when opening any CRM pages. It seems that after page reguest from client, nothing happens for this 6-7 seconds, but after this page itself opens wery quickly. Configuration: Client: mainly Core 2 Duo w/ 2G CRM / Exchange: SBS2003 w/2G, no R2 or ISA Separate SQL 2005 3G RAM, 2x72G 10krpm Raid 1 w/battery accelerator. 100Mb LAN When i access CRM, it seems that no stress to SQL server is produced.     - Wrong timestamp on notes CRM 3.0 w/Rollup 2- It doesn't look like our system is tracking the correct time and I'm not sure where it is getting the time from. I've run the rollup2 and also re-installed/re-ran the DST Hot fix (not that I don't trust the rollup, but I don't trust the rollup). System date/time shows correctly but the timestamp is off by 1 hour. I suppose I could ignore it for a few more days and it will work itself out, but what gives?     - Auto-Numbering Fields In the Auto-Numbering Category under Settings, you can set the format for auto-numbering for 6 entities. And, when I go into Customization, Case, I do in fact, find an attribute named "Case Number" which is all set up to use the auto- numbering system. However, I am not finding one of these pre-designated fields in the attribute list of my "Order" entity. And the "Order" entity is one of the 6 listed in the Auto-Numbering section.     - Tracking Email - Changing size of 'allowed' email attachments Hi How does a person change the size of the email attachments allowed to be 'tracked' in CRM? We've got an email with lots of attachments and are getting an error message stating that the attachment is either not a valid type or is too large. It cannot be uploaded or downloaded. Notes: * CRM Rollup 2 have been applied. * The CRM user that owns the workflow has a CRM System Administrator role and the "Restricted Access Mode" property is not checked.     - Outlook CRM client connect error after password change When a laptop users changes their password when prompted, they launch the web version of CRM fine. But the Outlook client fails with the failure to load crm funtionality error because it can't authenticate.     - Cannot display reports : wrong url generated Hi, after a server HW crash, we recovered after hours of downtime. Now we have "sqlserver" SQL Server 2005 with SRS and "crm" front-end. We're fighting with report pages not shown. URL called is "http://sqlserver/Reportserver?%2fOrganization+Name_MSCRM%2fAccount Reports list shows fine but for any report, we get this wrong URL construct. The registry SQLRSServerURL entry is http://sqlserver/Reportserver I've tried to set a host header on reporting web site on sqlserver without success. No error in crm events log nor in sqlserver one. Reporting services is working fine on sqlserver and Reporting Services Configuration Manager is all green. CRM server's application pool domain user is granted access to crm reports area. The CRM 3.0 Diagnostic tool reports no error; the reportserver AppPool user has a spn for http on sqlserver. So: no error nowehere but a wrong URL Any clue? The problem is that CRM does not give me the option of exporting to a dynamic spreadsheet. Instead, it says: "this is a special view which can be exported only to a static worksheet".     - Grid view buttons I have added a button to account grid view. this button would open a new page(Custom page). There's submit button in the custom page. when i click that button the same custom page gets opened. this doens't occur if i change the winmode of this button to 0. for 1 and 2 values this scenario occurs. the issu is that i cannot use the 0 option as the window.dialogargumants return as undefined.     - Static excel export is OK, but dynamic export fails? Anyone any ideas why a specific user can export a specific Saved View to a static Excel worksheet, but not to a dynamic worksheet? In my case, I would prefer to be able to configure my view to default to "ALL". But I can't configure to a personal default, just the system-imposed default of "Last 30 Days".     - CRM 3.0 fresh install, Outlook Client unable to connect w/o VPN After reading over and over the newsgroups, it appears that Outlook clients should be able to connect to CRM without a VPN; however, I have failed to do so. Here is the current setup. SBS2003 w/ Exchange 2003 running CRM router service 2003Server running CRM and SQL and SRS Internal LAN - Outlook and Web-Based crm (http://crm) functions without issue. External WAN - passing through Cisco Pix 501 (opened all neccessary TCP and UDP ports)....Outlook clients (on and off-premise setup) work without issue via the Microsoft VPN to the SBS2003 server. BUT, turn off the VPN, and I am unable to connect. I have found the w/o the VPN, I must move the http://crm.domain.com into the Trusted Sites vs. the Local Intranet to get the CRM to function. I have also found the authentication doesn't seeem to pass when on the WAN because you must enter home\username and pswd. Any suggestions? P.S.     - Users can't access CRM via a VPN connection Hi -- we're trying to set it up so our remote users can VPN into the office and use CRM via their Outlook client. We have CRM 3.0 and we're using a Check Point firewall. The CRM Outlook client works great when they're in the office but when they try during a VPN session they get the infamous error: "There is a problem communicating with the Microsoft CRM server. The server might be unavailabe..." Outlook connects to the Exchange server as it should -- but for some reason CRM won't work. I've already looked through the KB article 910090 and none of that applies here (besides -- none of those would apply since it's working from inside the network). I've also tried accessing CRM from the web client and that also fails. When I try going to the site by name it just says the site cannot be found. When I try by IP address we are prompted for a login but after entering that we get a "page is under construction" site. I can ping the server by private IP address during the VPN session and I can RDP to it. I tried putting in an entry in the hosts file but that didn't make a difference. Any other ideas? Thanks! So I also installed it on our production environment to solve the same problem. in the same way. I am not sure what is causing some of the entities to have

Hi,
When ever you create a new entity. There is always a Filtered View for that
entity in Views in CRM Database. Name of the Filtered View is
"Filtered<Schema Name of Entity>".
Filtered Views are always recommended to use instead of other Views or
direct tables.
