Hi NG,

we are having a multi-server installation with 3 different languages [german, hungarian and english]
and finished customization including custom entities an one machine.
What is best practice to save time in creating the same entities and relationships
on another server that uses a different language of crm 3.0,
so that we just have to translate the display names?

Hi Mario,

Thanks for the post! This is Mike responding.

Unfortunately, exporting from one CRM Language to another is not supported
or tested. Here is a link to a document that explains different language
compatibility:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=befd4c00-d3fe-411f-
9c3d-2ab1f53811f2&displaylang=en

You may have to create customizations on the 3 languages seperately.

Thanks!

Kind regards,
Mike

Hi Mario,

I created a tool a year ago doing exactly what you're looking for. I used it
to migrate the customizations made during the TAP (Beta) program which was
US English only to a German system. Since then I haven't used it, but if
you're interested feel free to contact me directly (contact information is
listed on http://www.stunnware.com/crm2/?area=aboutme).
