This is a fairly urgent question - we are closing our business for the
hurricane and want to send an email to our clients letting them know of our
closure. This email needs to come from a person in our company who is not on
CRM, therefore, I can't do a CRM email.

So, I need to export selected email addresses in a format that can be sent
to someone else (Excel, Word???) so they can copy & paste it into an email.

How do I do this??

HELP!
Thank you!
Andrea

Andrea. Sorry by the hurricane. Hope that these can help you.

If you use Query Analizer of SQL you can write a simple query and then
import to a CSV or a Text file.
Use some like "Select emailaddress1, fullname from contactbase where..(the
condition)"

If you don´t use SQL, create a view for Contacts and include the Names and
the Emails Address and then import to Excel with the button.

You need an add-on, and i can develop that for you.. send mail to me on
mscrmexpert@gmail.com .

That will integrate with MS CRM.. you choose from menu and get the email
address.

Andrea,

This is relatively simple to do. Go into your Settings, then choose System
Customization. Click on Contacts and then select Create a New View. Give the
view a name, like "Email addresses for export" or something of that ilk.
Then choose the fields you would like displayed (i.e. - name and email
address), add any sorting and filtering options you would like, then save
and close your new view. Go back to Sales and then Contacts and select the
view from the drop down list on the top right corner. Once the view is
displayed, click the Excel icon in the top right corner of the list and you
will have your exported list of contacts and email addresses in MS Excel
format.

You can repeat the same process for Accounts if need be. Hope this helps.
