    - Some more simple CRM 3.0 Questions - When e-mail is sent through CRM, since it doesn't sync with Outlook (i.e. sent folders), how do I force users to ONLY send e-mail through CRM so that all messages are tracked?     - PreCallout return messages I am trying to write a pre-callout routine. I have it working. When a certain condition is met, I return the abort return code and a message. Then I get this really bad end of the world type of screen from CRM - with my error in the middle. It looks like a exception was thrown, certainly not the nice little message that I provided. Is there a setting somewhere where I can get this to look presentable? If I use stop, even though I pass back a message - it doesnt' appear. Thanks in Advance!     - Running Excel Report closes CRCM I have created an Excel report. When I run this report from the reports area in CRM it pops up and asks if I want to Save or Open. If I Open everything closes.     - Ability to edit customer relationships It appears that regardless of what permissions a user has on the customer relationship entity, a relationship between 2 accounts/contacts cannot be edited unless you are the user that created the relationship.     - Outlook and CRM 3.0 Hello When an email comes in to this person's Outlook folder and she completes the regarding field and click "Track in CRM" or when an email comes in with an existing GUID, the email is not attached to the contact/case, etc. in CRM 3.0.     - Change default Contract View to Active instead of Draft When you are itn eh account view and select the contracts link the default view will show you DRAFT contracts instead of Active Contracts. Since this is a entity that is embedded within an Entity there is no way to modify the default view to show Active.     - Time Track and Billing I need to implement CRM that would generate quotes, track time and bill the clients. Right now, my company is using Footprints to track time, QuoteWerks to generate quotes, and QuickBooks to bill the customers.     - Customizations - Different Versions of SQL Has anyone tried exporting customizations from a Microsoft CRM 3.x instance that is running on SQL Server 2005 and then importing the customizations to the same version of Microsoft CRM that is running on SQL 2000 SP4?     - Full Text search in article doesn't work properly with national characters Hi, I work with MS CRM 3.0 English, it is running on Windows 2003 English Std and database server is SQL Server 2005 Std. When I publish article to Knowledge Base in English language full text search work fine. When I use in summary section of article national characters (Czech), full text on words with national characters doesn't work. I was looking for cause of this behavior and I found in database Company_MSCRM table DocumentIndex and column SearchText. In this column is all text of article and I see there words with national characters and before and after nation character are spaces, for example 'c lov e ka'. That is the problem, when I try look for 'c lov e ka', full text find record. Database, table and this column have collation Latin1_General_CI_AS, but column SerachText is type ntext and ntext is Unicode filed. Where is problem? Why word 'cloveka' save CRM as 'c lov e ka' ? So the Releationship from the contact object is not very difficult (service.RetrieveEntityMetadata(this.SourceType.ToLower(), CrmMetaData.EntityFlags.All)).     - Setup failed to validate Report Server - Object Reference not set I've been having trouble installing CRM 3.0 Professional and connecting to an existing SQL Server 2005 Report Server (on a different machine). The error message is: Setup failed to validate Report Server 'url' - Object Reference not set to an instance of an object I finally figured out the problem. For some reason, it was permissions issue on the C:\Windows\temp folder of the machine where Report Server was installed. After changing permissions so the Report Server was able to read/write that folder, CRM installed. Just thought I'd post this info in case anyone else had the same problem.     - Convert Contacts to Accounts, Leads, etc. I understand MS workflow concept of starting with a lead and converting to an opp, contact, account, etc. with the "Convert Lead ..." button. However, MS seems to have ignored the fact that there are millions of Outlook users who have hundreds of millions of contacts in Outlook. We don't want to mass import accounts and contacts and prefer to use the "Track in CRM" button to allow our users to add contacts to CRM from Outlook as needed or as they have time.     - Need to delete read only records Hello, I'm trying to get rid of some bogus test quotes that were entered in CRM. These quotes were entered by test users and the quotes were flagged as "won". If you try to delete these you get the error that they are read-only records. These bogus quotes are showing up in report data and I need them to disappear. Does anyone know what flags or status code I need to change in the sql tables to allow a system admin to "re-open" those records and delete them.     - Billable time reports We are just deploying CRM 3.0 for our Marketing Service related company. I have set up the Product Catalog to include Hourly Units with a price list of $75.00 for the Product "Service 1". I have resolved a Service case for an Account and have charged the account 1 hour of billable time. Question: is there a report already in place that shows me the cases (for the month) for Accounts with billable time. Or is there another step I must complete after resolving the case to move this billable time to an Invoice?     - Exporting to Excel Pivot Crashes Whenever we select records to export to Excel (ie: Accounts) and we choose 'Dynamic Pivot Table' and then 'Select Columns', the entire application crashes. If on the web client then IE crashes, if on the Outlook client then outlook crashes. Only a group of desktops are experiencing this and they appear to have the same Service Pack and Add-ins as the non-working computers. We have the Outlook Desktop client installed on XP Professional desktops (v2002 SP2) with Outlook 2003 while the rest of the Office line is 2000. Systems using Office 2003 aren't experiencing this. I installed CRM 3.0 without Exchange route about 2 month ago, Now I install
Exchange server and CRM Exchange router. Please let me know how can I Change
CRM Exchange router in MS CRM?
I repair CRM Server but I encounter some problems, also I find a solution
for this issue that I must changed CRM registery but my problem don't solved.

Not sure what you want to "change". If you never installed the router
previously, there shouldn't be an issue. CRM isn't aware of the router
until it's installed.

The Repair can be used to route outbound emails through a different SMTP
server though, if that's what you mean.
