Is Exchange Server required for Microsoft Dynamics CRM installatio

Hi all,

Could you tell whether Exchange Server is required for Microsoft Dynamics
CRM installation?
If end-user will use Microsoft Dynamics CRM only by Internet Explorer
without any Exchange Server related function, it seems that Exchange Server
is not required.

In addition, is it related with Language? End-user is thinking to use
Japanese Edition of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

You may want to refer to chapter 10 of the implementation Guide

Microsoft CRM Server can operate without Microsoft Exchange Server. However,
you will not have Microsoft CRM e-mail capabilities.
