It appears that Microsoft have withdrawn the 1.0 exams and have
replaced them with new 1.2 versions

US MS-03-020 Microsoft CRM Customization v1.2
US MS-03-030 Microsoft CRM Applications Professional v1.2

No word on the new Installation and Configuration exam

These will not have to be retaken if you have passed the version 1.0 exams.
This will change for version 2 however

Blimey, I hope they don't change that one before I take it again. I've only
just found out where the goal posts are - it would be just too unfair if
they move them again!

I need to take all three exams. What would be the best order to take
them in?
Considering the fact that the installation and configuration exam
might become available in a 1.2 version later(still no news?) I'd like
to postpone that and take that last. Is that unwise?

I need to finish all exams before 1. april - Anybody think the
installation and configuration exam will become available in a 1.2
version before then?

Regards Kim

Based on the experience of myself and my colleague who did the Customization
exam, I would recommend doing them in this order:

- CRM Application Professional
- CRM Customization
- CRM Installation and Configuration

The consensus here seems to be that this is also the order of difficulty of
each exam. With any luck, the Install and Config one will have been improved
and upgraded to 1.2 by the time you're ready to take it, and doing the other
exams will allow you to ramp up your experience of exams in the meantime.

I would strongly recommend doing the training course before each exam. I
don't know if it's changed for 1.2, but the 1.0 exams are pretty much based
directly on the course notes, so these will be very helpful.
