Anyone had this error before?
The user was once able to use MSCRM without any glitch,
but he formatted his machine and when he tried using
accessing the site, he gets this error.

Open IIS Help, which is accessible in IIS Manager

Has he rejoined the domain?

also can you get him to set his internet security settings from
tools-options in IE to the defaults.

yep, same domain as before.
what particular settings do I need to check?
