Can someone explain to me exactly how email tracking is supposed to work in
CRM 3.0 Outlook client?? I think I'm missing something in regards to when a
person replies to an email that has a CRM tracking token associated with it,
and where it goes within the CRM system from that point.

Thanks,

ok assume you have sent out an email and that person responds..here is what
happens..

1 - the mail hits exchange than the users mailbox
2 - a rule in the mailbox forwards the mail to the crm email routers
mailbox.
3 - the email router routinely monitors this mailbox and eveyr so often
checks the emails and sees if they are intended for CRM. If they are, an
email activity is created in crm then the email is deleted.
