I was trying to customize CRM. What I am looking for is

1) Is there anyway that we can change the order of the menu items in
the left bar? Such as for accounts, the order of the items in the left
bar is Information, More Addresses, Sales etc; I would like to have
this order changed. Is it possible?

2) There are so many phone fields in CRM. Is there anyway that we can
force the user to enter the phone number always in (XXX)-XXX-XXXX
format?

These things are stopping us from moving ahead.

1. The only way to do this would be to completely build your own custom pages
and order them however you wish.
2. The solution to this one can be approached using a SQL trigger to always
format phone number fields in the way you want them. Just remember anything
you do directly to thhe database is unsupported by Microsoft and if you have
problems with it they will not help.
