I'm getting an error when I go to Reports. The error
indicates that I should check to make sure I have enough
Crystal Reports' Licenses.

I have added a few users since I last ran a report, but
now I've deleted a few users, and I still get the error.

How can I check how many licenses I have, and how many
I'm using? How can I setup users to be CRM users, but
not Crystal Report license users? Is that possible, I
think so because my System Admin told me we have 12-15
CRM licenses but only 5 Crystal Licenses.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks,

Ian

Ian

CRM comes with a 50 user license for crystal. Have got access to
partnersource as there are a number of causes for this. Firstly make sure
all your crystal services have started.

Ian,
welcome to the seamless integration between MS CRM & Crystal
Reports...
There are plenty of threads discussing this problem. You'll have to
find out the source and ID of your error from the event viewer, and
you'll find a couple of aswers in this news group.

The best of luck (you'll need it ;D)

JB
(still experiencing a lack of licenses...)

Hi Ian

MSCRM comes with 350 Crystal licences. It sounds like your problems might be because of the APS has not started properly. You can check this in CCM (Crystal Configuration Manager) on you CRM server

You do not need Crystal Reports licenses to run reports only to customise or create reports

The CRM system comes with 50 concurrent licenses for Crystal Enterprise which allow you to run the reports and can support between 350-500 users. Therefore, you have plenty of licenses

Check your Crystal Enterprise services and make sure that they are running the important service is the Crystal APS. You can check through the normal services or go through Start - All Programs - Crystal Enterprise - Crystal Configuration Manager
