Crystal Report with ODBC

Hi,
I have a crystal report with ODBC connection to i.e. northwind
database. Is it possible to add the report into CRM sales report
group?

Hi Jani
To add reports to the CRM Sales report group you must use
the CRM Cystal connector (APS) to save into the
enterprise folder (Sales report group). This connector
comes with CRM and is only compatible with Crystal
version 9.

Although it is possible to use an ODBC connection to
access the data you will only be able to execute this
from outside CRM. CRM uses its own connection type via
Crystal APS - this is because it will restrict the data
shown based on the priveleges and access levels for that
user. The ODBC will not restrict visibility to the users.
