will this also work the same for adding a lookup value to an opportunity
product?
We have other systems we link to our CRM inclusing a student tracking
database and a financial package.
for the student database we need to be able to show what products are
related to which student. We have modified the contacts so as to have fields
that show if a contact is a student and have created an I frame that allows
us to link to the external student management software for booking students
and getting basic feedback from the student application.
However I cannot find a standard way of linking a student to a Opportunity,
Quote, order and invoice product so that we can track when payment is in and
the student can begin training. we can link in from both databases on field
values but within CRM we would like to have two things.
1. Create a lookup field for adding a student to an
Opportunity/order/quote/invoice product
2. Limit the selection in the lookup form/page/field to only the
students/contacts related to the parent account of the opportunity.
Any and or all help will be cincerely appreciated...
