Hi Kitty,
As a general rule of thumb, preparation for any of the CRM exams should
include the following: 1) attend classroom training or view the corresponding
eCourse, 2) thoroughly review the training manual, and 3) work with the
product. Nothing beats hands-on experience, so I highly recommend that you
have experience with the product prior to taking the exam. For the Install
and Config exam, this means installing the product, uninstalling, setting up
business units, security, etc. As for study aides, the training manual
should be your primary reference material when studying for the exam. The
Implementation Guide is an excellent resource of knowledge, especially for
your live implementations, but it should not be used as your sole study
guide. Since the exam content was derived from the material covered in the
training course, the training manual should be your primary reference
material as you study and prep for the exam.
Best of luck,
Tony
