I'm having an issue publishing my customizations. When I go to deploy and
get to the point of picking my web server nothing is listed. When I go to
add the web server the dialog box comes up like it's trying to find it but
then never returns with anything. It just becomes totally unresponsive, no
errors or anything. Deployment manager just appears to freeze up.

I am on CRM 1.2 and I read a knowledgebase article that mentions something
about .NET 2.0 might be causing this and possibly Update Rollup 2 would fix
this issue but it refers to the beta. It was on the MBS knowledge base and
it was article 898566.

Anyone know what this problem is and would Update Rollup 2 fix it?

Hi Nick,

Thanks a lot for your patience in this matter.

I have not heard of any specifics regarding the freezing of Deployment
manager, but you should install Update Rollup 2 as it fixes a lot of CRM
1.2 problems.
One thing to check is general DNS network connectivity. You can use
NSLOOKUP to do this.

Thanks again!

Kind regards,
Mike
