    - Adding values to "OpportunityCloseActivity" I'd like to add more values for "Status Reason" for when my users close an opportunity. However, the Close Activity is a popup window that I can't find when I go to the system customization while logged in to MS CRM. Is there anyway to add values to this??     - Recieving an error when opening CRM e-mail????? When a response to a CRM E-mail is received, it is automatically attached to the CRM Record (Opportunity, Account, Lead) as activity history. In order to further respond to the CRM E-mail and continue the thread the user has to do this from the CRM Activity History on the record. Sometimes when the e-mail is opened in CRM it contains this warning message: "The e-mail below may contain script or content that is potentially harmful and has been blocked. Unblock" With this error message, the user can not respond or forward the e-mail from CRM. The e-mail form blanks out and the user gets an internet â??Page can not be displayedâ?? error screen.     - Rule ? CRM 1.2 Sales prof. I have made a manual rule that updates 3 custom account fields from true to false. They worked fine before but now the customer get an error stating that he isn't allowed to make the change. The systemadministrator with all rights can't apply the rule either.     - Report consultation crashs Hello, I've noted that Crystal Enterprise for MS CRM doesn't work very well in my deployment : - Sometimes it works - Sometimes nothing loads after long time - In the most cases, I get this error : "updateViewState failed" In that last case, I've verified : APS is running. I don't have a lots of users accessing simultaneously Crystal Enterprise, but we have imported around 2000 accounts and 6000 contacts. Has someone experienced such problems ?     - mysterious relogin after 15 mins Hello, after about 15 minutes of working with MS-CRM IE opens a login window. Problem is, it wants me to enter a password for a non existing user. User in CRM is John Doe, domain login for this user is user08. The login window wants me to enter the password for "\\crmsrv\John Doe" password for user08 is not accepted.     - Slow response times using browser over VPN Hi I use CRM 1.2 remotely via VPN over broadband. Most of the time I use the Outlook interface, but occasionally I need to go direct via IE. Response times are fine using Outlook but painfully slow (half an hour to load the first screen) using IE. I'm using Windows 2003 Server and XP client. Any good ideas? But each quote can only be associated with one order and one order is associated with one invoice. Our client asks whether one quote can have several order. For example in a quote for 10 items.     - Can't select text in input control I have created a custom page that works fine within CRM. The strange thing is that I can't select (highlight) text in a textbox control. I created the page using an asp:TextBox control and a regular HTML Input control set to type=text. For some reason I can't select the text using the keyboard or mouse in either case.     - Trouble getting Workflow Rule to fire I am using the CRM Workflow manager to trigger specific events to update the system. The issue that I am having is determining what Event (Create, Manual, Assign, Change Status) I need to assign to the rule? The scenario is as follows: When a field at the Contact level is set to â??TRUEâ?? I need a rule to run to update a field at the Account level. The issue I am encountering is that the Rule never gets fired. Here is the code, I have tried using a Wait condition and an If/Else statement: When Contact Status is Changed If Contact.QuickMoveActive = 1 Then Update: Account.QMAvailLicense -= 1 End IF OR When Contact Status is Changed Wait Contact.QuickMoveActive = 1 End Wait Update: Account.QMAvailLicense -= 1 In this case â??Contact.QuickMoveActive = 1 â?? tells the system that this user is now an active user of a specific product. When this event occurs then I need the RULE to fire and subtract 1 from the total number of licenses still available for this Account which is represented by â??Update: Account.QMAvailLicense -= 1â?? .     - Create shortcut button to activity Hello Sorry if this is a newbie question but I havent found an answer so far. I'm trying to find a way of creating a custom button on the Lead update screen to create an activity eg a phone call as a shortcut instead of having to go to the Actions menu, then PhoneCall, ie it's just a click of a button instead of using the menus. I've added a custom button to "/activities/email/edit.aspx" and have PassParams = 1 set. However, when I click the button I get a new email activity with oID passed but the Recipient field is not populated, so therefore is not saved with the lead I'm updating.     - Migrating both SQL & CRM to a new server Hi, I am currently looking into the procedures to migrate all the CRM data from an OLD machine to a NEW machine.Currently both SQL 2000 SP3 and CRM are installed on the OLD machine running Windows 2003 Std Server Edition. We are to retire the OLD one and want to move everything to the NEW. I have installed SQL 2000 SP3 on Windows 2003 Server (non-SBS) already. Since I cannot install CRM on the NEW one without uninstalling CRM on the OLD first. I am wondering if the following steps will work: 1) Copy everything in <systemdrive>:\Program Files\Microsoft CRM\Crystal Decisions\Enterprise 9\Filestore from the OLD to the NEW 2) Uninstall CRM on the OLD 3) Install CRM on the NEW and ask the CRM to use the existing database during installation. 4) Depromo OLD, and remove it from the network.     - Error starting CRM from the Web I've just installed CRM on a Windows 2003 Server. The Win2003 Server is joined to a domain that is based on Windows 2003 Small Business Server. The Win2003 Server is configured as an application and file server. Doesn't have Active Directory, DNS, or any other services running on it, since SBS2003 handles all of this. I'm trying to add users to CRM in the Win2003 Server via the Deployment Manager, but find that I can't see from any of the users that are in AD on SBS2003. I then tried to add users to CRM manually by calling up the CRM web site on the Win2003 Server. However all I get is an error message: "An error has occurred.     - CRM v1.2 + Windows 2003 SP1 = Problems. Things seems to work fine pre-SP1, but now I'm experiencing these problems after installing Windows 2003 SP1: 1.) Trying to login with an admin account using IE on the CRM server itself gives me a "HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials." This worked just fine pre-SP1. I can log on with that same user account on any other workstation just fine. It's not a popup blocker. It's not a license that wasn't assigned to the user account. It's something else. 2.) When trying to look at my users in Deployment Manager, it gives me a "The server localhost is not responding. This might happen if it is currently unavailable, it is not a Microsoft CRM server, or you do not have sufficient privileges to run User Manager." I realized after I imported my Outlook contacts as "contacts" to MSCRM that the contact screen does not have a company name and that I need to create an account and attach the account to the appropriate contacts. Am I approaching this the right way - is it more appropriate to import my Outlook contacts as "leads" rather than contacts? Not sure if there is a right appoach to this but it is time consuming to match up all my contacts into approapriate accounts and it doesn't seem like the way it should work. I noticed that opportunity products have similar boolean fields (ispriceoverridden and isproductoverridden) with quote products, but when I add these fields to form, it does not allow to override price and still demands me to choose product.     - How to sync ALL contacts into Outlook - not just the new ones? Hi, Ive a question/problem! I want to sync all the contacts into the personal contactmap of Outlook, not just the new ones. I will tell you the problem: If I use the button Options -> Synchronise only the new created contacts are synced. In stead of the program looks what do you have in Outlook and you get the rest it checks whats new in CRM and you get that. My problem is that not all the contacts are synced. If I sync the contact to my personal contacts in Outlook the map will be filled with (just) the new created contacts. After that I delete them out of the personal contactfolder and when I try to sync again no contacts are in the folder. Is there a solution for this problem ... or is it just me :S (could be)? We are looking at taking 2 courses with regards to CRM customisation but can only really find London based courses.     - duplicate error Hi everybody ! We have just make some mappings in our MS CRM environment from Accounts to Contacts and we've got the "Duplicate Error" message. I've check the group's archives to find a solution in the kb 862493 but it doesn't solve the problem. I still have the same error. When I compare the Dev Environment and the Production environment, I can see a lot of difference in the existing mappings. It seems than MS CRM create its own through the life of the application. I create 2 manuel rule from Workflow manager at below:

1. Manuel Rule
Change state to : Submitted

2. Manuel Rule
Change state to : Activated

I run first rule when order is Active and Order is submitting. After that I
run second rule when order is submitted but it cant run and I see "An error
has occured" message.

Does anybody help to me? How can I activate "submitted order"?

You cannot reactivate a submitted order.
