I am trying to run a report that shows the number of independant accounts
contacted by our CSRs. Can somebody please give me the criteria, in the
advanced find option, to do this?

While you can't get aggregates from an advanced find, you can certainly
export your Advanced Find query into a Dynamic Excel pivottable.

I can give you some criteria for the A.F. query, but I'm not sure what you
mean by "independant" accounts. Also, are you qualifying Accounts as being
"contacted" through Activities, or Cases?

Thank you for the response. More specific, I have 3 CSRs that are making
calls. They are given lists of 250 contacts at a time. When I run the
activity log, it takes into account first calls, follow-ups, etc. What I
would like to do is find the number of different accounts they called. (ex.
total calls could be 3, but to only 1 account).

Okay, if you'r just looking for a count, try this:

Go into the Contacts Entity in the A.F. tool and search on the following
conditions

1.) Active Contacts
2.) Related Records --> Ativity Type = "Phone Call"
3.) Related Records --> Activity Owner = [1 of the 3 CSRs]
4.) Date Range or other any other way of ID'ing the 250 Contacts assigned to
the CSR.

This will show Contacts with Phone calls made by the CSR at within the date
range (or whatever filters you specify to query on the 250 contacts).

Save the view under that CRS's name and repeat for each additional CSR. The
reason for doing them one at a time is because the view/dataset returned from
the query only contains contact columns, so you won't know who called who.

Let me know if this helps
