Hi there

I have a client for which we have used a seperate CRM server. Their
requirement is to access the CRM over internet.

They are accessing their emails by outlook web access. For this, they
are using an exchange server installed in another machine. Obviously
it states that they have another PDC apart from CRM.

Is there any possibilities by which we can make CRM accessed through
internet using the same infrastructure.

we don't need to buy another fixed IP and configure it for inet
access.

Please give me some useful Info. I appreciate!!

Thanks
Regards
Murali

Hello Murali:

We have proposed a solution to our client like using a web service to pull
the data from the CRM server using internet connectivity. Here the remote
users can have laptops or handhelds?. If you are interested please drop a
email.

We simply forwarded a higher port through to the crm server and updated
Remote users favourites to reflect the new port. External port
externalIP:81 > internalIP:80 Clients would then just type
http://address.com:81/crm
This allows for access to both OWA and CRM at the same time without the need
for adding an additional external ip.
