Pls help,
If I've already merged two leads together with v1.2 through the multi-field
search option, is there a way I can "unmerge" the lead. Apparently if there
is something in both fields (ie Subject) the one that I merge to will stick,
however the merged one will not carry over that field.

Also, as far as utilizing the "RELATED TO" tool for contacts and leads, how
would I go about viewing that there is a "link" or related to a specific
contact.
thanks for your help.

explain how you have merged leads again? Not sure how you are doing this.
Either way you cannot unmerge anything as there is no rollback mechanism in
1.2

John,

I suspect Elizabath has c360 SearchPac - we also have this and it has a tool
named "Multi Field Search" and also a tool for merging records. But you
still dont get an "unmerge" tool as it deletes the one of the records when
the merge is done!

John,
Ian is correct-I do have C360 SearchPac. That is what I'm using to merge
duplicate leads and contacts in our CRM. But it looks like there isn't a way
to unmerge-any idea's if V3.0 will have a tool that can "un-merge" prior to
processing the complete merge option-almost like a "merge preview of the new
record?"

Thanks for your assistance to both of you.

Tthe merge functionality that comes with v3.0 may give you what you need.
If allows you to pick which values end up in the resulting record on a field
by field basis. However, once the merge is performed, there is no way to
back it out.
