Hi all,

We had a client that had access to their calenders, then one morning (after
their IT guy applied updates to their server, inc .NET 2.0) they could use
all parts of CRM but not the calenders. They just recieved a not available
error.
I read some posts that said that .NET 2.0 when installed on CRM server or
workstation can cause the calender to be unavailable. I informed the client
to remove .NET 2.0 and put on .NET 1.1 with SP1. He has not yet done that
but weirder again it now is available, the following morning, without change.

Has anyone seen this or know how/why this happened inscase it happens again
and I need to look into it.

Cheers,
Nathan Warner

hi Nathan,

I'm experiencing the "Outlook Freezes when opening/replying/forwarding"
problem after CRM Outlook Client has been installed.

The .Net framework 2.0 is installed on these problematic machines. From
Microsoft Business Solution Support (MBS), MS CRM 3.0 does not support
framework 2.0. I've been advised to remove the .Net framework 2.0.

Will give it a shot on my next onsite visit.

Wish me luck.

hi Nathan

Thanks!

Valuable time will not be wasted in trouble-shooting if Microsoft could just
put up "MS CRM 3.0 does not support framework 2.0" in the Implementation
Guide

:-(

Cheers!
