    - Crystal Reports Error We have moved CRM from one server to another server. Everything has gone well except now when we try to open any report we get the following message: File Repository Server Input is down.     - Need to make dealer lists - what software to use I currently have Windows XP loaded on my computer from Gateway. (no office vesions). I work out of my home and need to make some separate dealer lists for each State in the US. I would like to be able to add or delete from these dealer lists at anytime. I do not need any spreadsheets. There is no math involved. I will only have store names and addresses, phone numbers. Each list will be sepearte, for each State.     - Problesm in setting up client I have set up the server with the sample database and added a few users. I would now like to start testing it properly. I would like to install the Outlook Sales client. I have a couple of problems with this 1) What is the URL of the server? 2) When the install gets part of the way through i get the error message that there is no default mail client, or the client cannot fulfill the request. The default client is set by a GPO. I double checked Outlook and everything looks normal. (except of course that it is greyed out and I cannot change the default to anything else) Another problem I had, was that when I first ran the install the install said that I did not have Outlook 2000 or later installed.     - Can't add users, they aren't in the list, HELP Our network is made up of 2 NT 2000 Domains, several hundred users in each. The Add user wizard in the Deployment manager doesn't show me all the users I'm interested in adding, I only get about 50 from the domain I want to use, the 2nd one Curiously the 1st domain has about 250 users in it. It's an older domain and I haven't checked, but it feels like every person is in it. I've checked, and it doesn't seem to be based on group membership. The people who aren't in the list of possible new users aren't missing from any of the groups which people who are in the list belong to. Any ideas? Any way to add users manually?     - Sales Process - Activity Due Dates By default, the due dates for all activites in a sales stage are based on the start of the sales stage (i.e. Activity 1 - due in 2 days, etc.). Is there a way to make a later activity's due date be dependent on an earlier activity within the same sales stage (i.e. Activity 2 will be due 2 days after Activity 1 completes).     - What old software do I have to install to test CRM? I got my Microsoft Action Pack last week and converted all my test machines to SBS2003 and a couple of Windows 2003 Application Servers. Everything is working fine in the test environment for SBS 2003, Exchange 2003, and Outlook 2003. I am now getting ready to add CRM, and it looks like I have to reformat everything again and go back to the 4 year old software that I had on the test machines before in order to install CRM. Is there a compromise position where I can reformat one of the application servers as Windows 2000 with an Exchange 2000 and still keep AD on SBS 2003, and keep Exchange 2003 as my main exchange server for the test? In reviewing the Product entity, I noticed that it (along with the PriceLevel entity) map to a ProductPriceLevel entity. Has anyone found this entity? It's not present schema manager however there is a ProductPriceLevelBase table in the <org>_MSCRM database.     - Problems concering contracts and cases Hi, First problem: I have a problem with deleting contracts. I can only delete contracts with status "draft", is that correct? I cannot even delete "cancelled" contracts. second problem: I have tried to renew a contract with one contract line. It appears that you can's attach a text file "signature" without resorting to an e-mail template. This is bad - even for a 1.0 product from MS. The SBS2003 is running Exchange 2003 and all the clients are running Outlook 2003 and SQL2000 SP3.     - Wireless I need clairification on a wireless issue and I appologize if I post this in the wrong area. If you can find the proper area to post this please let me know because I search for 1 hour already. If 2 seperate LAN systen are running. The first LAN is NOT connected to the Internet for security reasons. The second LAN is using the Wireless Microsoft MN-500 Wireless router and does have an Internet connection through High Spead cable. The IT Security team says that signal emmisions emmitted from the unshielded CAT5 wireing on LAN(1) are broadcasting inside of the wireless bubble. They also say that if a hacker (with a wireless reciever NIC) gets in into the wireless LAN (which is no doubt possible) they could then grab the packets floating around from system (1). I'm wondering if this is actually true, because if the hacker connected to the Wireless LAN , which has it's own DNS, DHCP, Gateway and Subnet can they sniff packets that might be floating around that are from an entirely different DNS, DHCP, Gateway and Subnet? Or if they have a wireless reciever NIC can they just scan within the bubble for any packets of information without needing to make a connection to a Network?     - Minimum System Requirements? I am planning on setting up CRM and SQL 2000 on a 2.8Ghz Pentium IV with 1028 Meg RAM and a RAID 5 (three Drive) system. I see that Microsoft says Dual PIII 700 Mhz as minumum and Dual 1.8Ghz Xeon is recommended. I have only 10 to 12 reps that will be using CRM (mix sometimes thru Outlook and Sometimes thru Web access). Does this server system sound sufficient to support this minimum load on CRM?     - Server install Hi, I have installed MSCRM using a license key assigned to my company. This installation all went ok (production environment). I would also like to install another instance of the application on a separate server but in the same domain using the Adventure Works Cycle license for a dev/ test environment. name). You can also try IP address to see if you can connect.
