Some of the CRM-SFO users have lost the CRM toolbar and folder list in
their outlook. We have tried re-installing the CRM add-in in outlook
and have also tried reinstalling the entire CRM suite. nothing seems to
work.

Any ideas?

Did you get any server connection related errors/warnings while re-installing
SFO client? Is this on a laptop or desktop client?

You need to clear the forms cache in Outlook.
In Outlook go to Tools > Options > 'Other' tab > Advanced Options > Custom
Forms button > Manage Forms > Clear Cache

That usually does the trick if you have already tried to re-add the add-in
in Outlook by clicking on the Add-In Manager button at the 5th step above,
then clicking Install and browing to the C: drive where the SFO client is
installed and locating the crmaddin.dll file (I think that's the right
name...)

Good luck. SFO is very flakey. Version 3 will fix you right up!
