% off

We offer our resellers a 50% disocunt on product, and 15% off of
support. how do i set this up? Not all sales are reseller sales, so
I wnat to be able to have the option to apply this discount or not.

You can use price lists in the product catalog to control
this. Individual Accounts (and/or Contacts) can be
related to a price list which then defaults to quotes,
orders and/or invoices when you create them from the
Account or Contact.

Each price list will require a price list item to relate
to each product you are selling. Then, you can set
pricing for that item as a specific currency amount, % off
list or % markup against cost. Of course you need to have
a list price or cost related to a product to use the last
two pricing options.

You will probably want to setup one price list for
resellers (at 50% off and 15% offf) and other price lists
for other types of customers).
