http://www.microsoft.com/sql/ce/howtobuy/default.asp. Generally, the only
way Sql Server 2000 is free is if you use MSDE rather than Sql Server. (Next
year, SQL Server 2005 Express would be the equivalent.) There is never any
charge for SqlCe, but if it connects to SQL Server, then you must either be
running SQL Server in per-processor mode or you must purchase CALs for each
SqlCe device that connects to it, and this is not free. You can find out
