How to get rid of 'Program is from an unknown publisher..."

After deploying applications from my development machine to my Dell Axim, I
get a warning, "...program is from an unknown publisher..." when I try to
run the application. How can I get rid of this warning?

Good grief. Ask enough questions, yet?!

The Windows Mobile 5 operating system is being careful on your behalf. If
you want to eliminate the warning, you have to sign the application or turn
off security on the device, which you may not be able to do, unless it's

You can buy one from one of the guys like Verisign or, if you have your own
authentication server, you can have it generate one, copy it to the device,
and register it as trusted. One of the threads that I pointed to from the
archives talks a bit about that.
