Hello,

today I installed the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition but after
insatallation I can not find the SQL Server Management Studio (Enterprice
manager)

Need I to install it separately?

Regards, Alfred M.

Hi Alfred,

I think it is included in standard install. Perhaps you unchecked it?

This one is rather for the Express edition that doesn't include the
management tool.

It would be surprising that the standard edition doesn't include this.

I see basically two options :
- the OP installed Express not Standard
- the tools were not selected as part of the Standard Edition installation

The only version I see of this refers to SQL Server Management Studio Express:

http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinfo/features/compare-features.mspx

However, I took another look and it appears to be integrated with the Enterprise Management Tools so
it should be installed.
